Serving business families since 2021

A wealth practice built around one standard of care.

Mutual funds, PMS, AIF and protection — researched in-house, executed by a small team in Salt Lake that answers its own phone. You always know who is responsible for your money.

Mandate types under one roof

Protect · Grow · Manage · Create legacy

Five mandates. Plain terms for each one.

Most people arrive holding a little of everything and a clear picture of nothing. Here is exactly what we run, who each one suits, and what we take off your desk.

MF

Mutual funds

Goal-linked portfolios across equity, debt and hybrid — built to a written allocation, not to whatever is topping the one-year chart.

Who it suits

Your first ₹25 lakh to ₹5 crore of liquid wealth. No minimum to begin.

We handle
  • Scheme selection and allocation on paper, reviewed quarterly
  • SIP, STP and SWP set-up across AMCs
  • Rebalancing with the capital-gains cost shown before you sign
  • One consolidated statement across every folio
SIF

Specialised Investment Fund

SEBI’s newer category, sitting between a mutual fund and a PMS — wider strategy freedom than a scheme allows, without the ticket size a PMS demands.

Who it suits

Investors above the SEBI minimum of ₹10 lakh, counted across all of an AMC’s SIF strategies rather than each one.

We handle
  • Whether the strategy genuinely earns its freedom, or is a mutual fund with a longer leash
  • How it overlaps with what you already hold, so you are not paying twice for one view
  • Redemption terms — daily, interval or closed-ended — checked before you commit, not after
  • Keeping the portfolio above the ₹10 lakh floor as you add and withdraw
PMS

Portfolio Management Services

Discretionary equity mandates with a named fund manager and stocks held in your own demat account. Distributed under Raja Banka’s APMI registration, APRN-06564.

Who it suits

Investors above the SEBI minimum of ₹50 lakh who want concentration and can sit through a bad year.

We handle
  • Manager due diligence — process, team tenure, drawdown history
  • Style fit against what you already own, so you are not paying twice for the same bet
  • Onboarding, PoA and demat coordination
  • Quarterly attribution review: what worked, what did not, why
AIF

Alternative Investment Funds

Category II and III funds — private credit, long-short equity, pre-IPO and real-asset strategies.

Who it suits

Above the SEBI minimum of ₹1 crore, and only once the liquid core is already in place.

We handle
  • Drawdown and commitment schedules mapped to your business cash cycle
  • Lock-in and liquidity planning before you commit, not after
  • Tax treatment explained at fund level and at your level
  • Ongoing capital-call tracking so no notice is missed
INS

Insurance & protection

Term, health, key-man and business-continuity cover — sized to the family and the firm that depend on you.

Who it suits

Every promoter with dependants, a loan guarantee, or a partner who would have to buy them out.

We handle
  • Cover sized to income, liabilities and succession — not to a round number
  • Placement across insurers, with the rejected quotes shown to you
  • Renewals tracked; you get a call, not a lapse notice
  • Claims filed by us, with the family, start to finish
100+ health insurance claims filed and settled by us every year for the last two years, with a 100% settlement record. When a family is in a hospital corridor, the paperwork is ours, not theirs.

How we work

Four steps, in this order, every time.

The sequence matters: nothing is bought before the note exists, and the note is not written before we understand how your business consumes cash.

01

Discovery

One unhurried meeting at your office. Business cash cycle, family dependants, existing folios, policies and loan guarantees — all of it on one page.

02

The written note

A short note you keep: everything you hold today in one place, what it would cost in tax to change anything, the options in front of you with our reasoning, and what we deliberately are not doing.

03

Execution

Paperwork completed at your desk. Folios and policies consolidated into a single view for the whole family, including the HUF.

04

Review

A quarterly review and an annual re-plan. When markets turn, you hear from us first — that is the whole point of a small book.

Founder-led research

“We don’t publish stock tips. We work out where the next rupee should go — and what would have to change for us to say something else.”

Raja Banka — Founder, RHB Wealth Pro

Every month an investor faces one real question: given what I already hold, where does fresh money go today? Our research is built around that and nothing else. Twice a month we rerun a valuation-and-sentiment model across large, mid and small caps, and publish what it says — the evidence behind it, and the trigger that would make us change it.

The model is contrarian by construction: it leans towards what is cheap and unloved and away from what is expensive and crowded, whatever the last two years returned. It is never a scheme recommendation, and personal allocation is never settled before we understand your circumstances.

Who you will be working with

Two people. Both of them read your file.

There is no relationship manager layer here, and no one is rotated off your account next quarter. You deal with the two people whose names are on the licence.

Raja Banka

Raja Banka

Founder · ARN-347811 · APRN-06564

Mathematics and Scientific Computing at IIT Kanpur, followed by fifteen years inside the steel and paper industries — which means he has read a balance sheet from the inside: the capex cycle, the working-capital squeeze, the year the order book went quiet. He writes the allocation research the practice runs on.

Fees and disclosure

How we are paid, before you ask.

Most intermediaries make you find this out. It sits here because a promoter deserves to know who pays whom before the first meeting, not after the first statement.

Mandate Who pays us What you see
Mutual funds Trail commission from the AMC. Nothing from you. The rupee amount we earned on your folios, in your annual review pack.
PMS and AIF Distributor commission from the fund house, disclosed upfront. Our commission and the fund's own fee structure, in writing, before you sign.
Insurance Commission built into the premium, as regulated. The rejected quotes alongside the one we recommend, so you see the trade-off.

RHB Wealth Pro is a mutual fund distributor, not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. We are paid by the manufacturers, disclosed above — we do not charge you an advisory fee.

Before you move anything

The questions people actually ask.

Do I have to move everything at once?

No. Most clients start with one slice — usually the part they are least sure about — and move the rest over two or three quarters, once the reporting has proved itself. Exit loads and capital gains decide the pace, not us.

What happens to my existing folios and policies?

They stay yours, wherever they sit. We map every folio, policy and nominee into one view first — often the most useful thing we do in the first month — and only then discuss what is worth changing.

Who actually handles my account day to day?

A named person, and you will have their mobile number. The practice is deliberately small: three of us, and the founder reads every plan before it reaches you.

What if I want to leave?

You tell us, and we hand over cleanly — statements, plans, nominee records, everything. Nothing is locked except products with contractual lock-ins, and those are flagged in writing before you ever enter them.

Are you registered, and with whom?

Both founders are AMFI Registered Mutual Fund Distributors — Ruchika Banka under ARN-281865 and Raja Banka under ARN-347811 — and both are IRDAI-registered insurance agents. PMS is distributed under Raja Banka’s APMI registration, APRN-06564, and AIF products are distributed without a separate registration number; in both cases the portfolio manager or investment manager is named on the offer document, and we do not manage money ourselves. We are distributors, not SEBI-registered investment advisers. That is a real distinction: we are paid by the product manufacturers, we show you exactly what that is, and we do not charge you an advisory fee.
